After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Checa Jimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Portús AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Checa Jimenez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabri Jareño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caetano Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Feal in the 10th minute. In the 11th match minute, El Portús AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliverio Tarin to maneuver through the defense. Agustín Feal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Lara having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Solustiano Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinol CD and the El Portús AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Solustiano Navarro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Nofre Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Caetano Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, El Portús AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliverio Tarin to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Pinol CD's goal looked a bit too open when Checa Jimenez came free, but Gabri Jareño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qwinton Sarrate's late challenge caught a Pinol CD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Qwinton Sarrate helped the player get up and apologised. Nofre Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Caetano Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Checa Jimenez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabri Jareño was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Pinol CD's Nofre Aballe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caetano Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tito Coya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabri Jareño having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Checa Jimenez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, El Portús AFC's Leo Jimenez got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gabri Jareño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Checa Jimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Caetano Lara came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinol CD's Nofre Aballe. But to his dismay, Nofre Aballe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nofre Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Agustín Feal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pinol CD's zone, Tito Coya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabri Jareño came out of the goal and Tito Coya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 played minutes El Portús AFC got a freekick which was hit by Meder Escurza. Agustín Feal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Lara having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Pinol CD's Nofre Aballe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 79th match minute, El Portús AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Valverde to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nofre Aballe in the 83rd minute of play. Tito Coya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gabri Jareño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Checa Jimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Checa Jimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Checa Jimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Checa Jimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Pinol CD's Agustín Feal in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Portús AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, El Portús AFC's Gabri Jareño threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Checa Jimenez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
