The audience was convinced that Gabon Leon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Mondejar was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Mondejar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the game, Etxebarri FC's Gabon Leon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Mondejar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lucila Labarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Aceves, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Andrei Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucila Labarra having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arotza Doblas made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Mondejar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabon Leon in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd match minute, Garrapinillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Solo to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Gabon Leon notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Garrapinillos FC's Antonio Mondejar. Antonio Mondejar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Arotza Doblas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Etxebarri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arotza Doblas couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Etxebarri FC's Arotza Doblas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Mondejar. Antonio Mondejar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Pedro Aceves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Solo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Etxebarri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Obis to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Aranguiz Acedo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Etxebarri FC's Lucila Labarra didn't even have to move. After 90 played minutes Etxebarri FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Montiel. 91 minutes into the match, Pedro Aceves notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Etxebarri FC's Lucila Labarra. Lucila Labarra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Etxebarri FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
