To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Felix Aguilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peri Incera's late challenge caught a Piedramillera AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peri Incera helped the player get up and apologised. Piedramillera AD's Ciano Saboya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Piedramillera AD from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Froilan Obis made the kick off in the second half. If Felix Aguilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leandro Bravo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celis CF's protests and gave Leandro Bravo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Celis CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Bravo to maneuver through the defense. When Froilan Obis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Celis CF fans jumped to their feet. Peri Incera was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Celis CF's goalkeeper Samuel Camacho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 93 minutes, Rafa Belalcaraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piedramillera AD and the Celis CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute Lucas Titos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciano Saboya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piedramillera AD were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Celis CF to leave the ground with a draw.
