Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roque Pujol got the match started through his kick off. Anaia Pastor kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Reno Barrientos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Colsa in the 6th minute of play. Reno Barrientos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selmo Bargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis-Antonio Marrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zosimo Pardo in the 11th minute. When Selmo Bargas fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balsapintada's protests and gave Selmo Bargas a yellow card for diving instead. Selmo Bargas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Balsapintada's Selmo Bargas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis-Antonio Marrero made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Zosimo Pardo sent off a good shot on target. Justin Colsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Selmo Bargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reno Barrientos. Benidoleig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Selmo Bargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 33 minutes, Teobaldo Vila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balsapintada and the Benidoleig players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, one of Balsapintada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balsapintada. The goalkeeper, Luis-Antonio Marrero, was totally fooled by Benidoleig's Sarracino Lacorte, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 44 minutes of play Balsapintada's Teobaldo Vila was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Teobaldo Vila kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Anaia Pastor, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The wind increased when Selmo Bargas made the kick off in the second half. Zosimo Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis-Antonio Marrero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zosimo Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute Zosimo Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis-Antonio Marrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selmo Bargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Reno Barrientos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Selmo Bargas got free with Reno Barrientos in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benidoleig's Reno Barrientos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Benidoleig from getting a goal against them. Oliverios Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Roque Pujol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
