José Caminero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis-Antonio Marrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Luis-Antonio Marrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Balsapintada got a freekick which was hit by Bras Morales. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Luis-Antonio Marrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Caminero, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. José Caminero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Casicas's goalkeeper Ximun Aizpurua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis-Antonio Marrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidio Rodriguez went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the game, Poli Valdés was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Casicas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balsapintada the free kick. After 74 played minutes Las Casicas got a freekick which was hit by Poli Valdés. Nalo Teresa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis-Antonio Marrero having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Poli Valdés hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Colsa in the 83rd minute of play forced Las Casicas's goalkeeper Ximun Aizpurua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Balsapintada's Selmo Bargas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ximun Aizpurua. That made the score 2-1 after 85 minutes of play. Justin Colsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximun Aizpurua having to interfere. When Selmo Bargas came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Balsapintada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selmo Bargas couldn't finish the play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Las Casicas were victorious despite being under pressure from Balsapintada for much of the match.
