Fliz Prieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fliz Sabina in the 8th minute of play forced Olot AFC's goalkeeper Bittor Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olot AFC's goalkeeper Bittor Clemente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Higuera De La Serena's goal looked a bit too open when Playo Correa came free, but Pepito Cerreri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Playo Correa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepito Cerreri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Playo Correa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepito Cerreri having to interfere. Playo Correa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Olot AFC's Playo Correa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pepito Cerreri. Pepito Cerreri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Maximino Incera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pepito Cerreri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Platon Iglesias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fliz Prieto in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bittor Clemente saved Olot AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Platon Iglesias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higuera De La Serena's supporters rose to their feet, but Platon Iglesias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bittor Clemente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Platon Iglesias kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Victorio Pedrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olot AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Pedrosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pepito Cerreri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Playo Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Maximino Incera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Xulian Zubiaga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Olot AFC's Bittor Clemente didn't even have to move. In the 77th match minute, Higuera De La Serena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xulian Zubiaga to maneuver through the defense. Pepito Cerreri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Playo Correa in the 78th minute of play. Playo Correa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fliz Prieto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bittor Clemente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Olot AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iban Batuecas to maneuver through the defense. Fliz Prieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bittor Clemente having to interfere. Higuera De La Serena's Fliz Sabina got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Olot AFC's zone, Fliz Sabina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bittor Clemente came out of the goal and Fliz Sabina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Higuera De La Serena players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olot AFC.
