Lauro Viejo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Adalberto Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cases Noves De La Riera SAD were furious when Olayo Nieto was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 13th minute, one of Cases Noves De La Riera SAD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cases Noves De La Riera SAD. The referee gave Canteras a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Quintin Fonticoba, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cases Noves De La Riera SAD's Lauro Viejo. 0-2. When Miro Rapado came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Canteras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miro Rapado couldn't finish the play. Lauro Viejo came out of the goal and Benet Ponte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Benet Ponte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canteras's supporters rose to their feet, but Benet Ponte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Viejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miro Rapado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauro Viejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benet Ponte in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Benedicto Casas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kelemen Pantoja was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Lauro Viejo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lauro Viejo had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Miro Rapado from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Quintin Fonticoba charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quintin Fonticoba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Cases Noves De La Riera SAD a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Chepe De la Torre, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canteras's Kelemen Pantoja. 2-4. After 90 minutes of play, Canteras's Quintin Fonticoba made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauro Viejo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Benet Ponte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Canteras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
