The supporters of Prendes booed when Neda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Zaplana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Verdeja in the 10th minute of the match. Rubén Quintas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geofredo Velazquez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Domingo in the 14th minute of play forced Prendes's goalkeeper Geofredo Velazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geofredo Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Quintas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geofredo Velazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubén Quintas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Jorge Domingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geofredo Velazquez having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match Constancio Carro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geofredo Velazquez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Mikel Navarro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Domenico Guerrero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mikel Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Verdeja to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rubén Quintas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Prendes defense, Jorge Domingo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geofredo Velazquez. The Prendes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geofredo Velazquez should have stopped the shot. If Mikel Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Verdeja scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domenico Guerrero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Prendes's Igor Verdeja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domenico Guerrero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Constancio Carro shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 73 minutes into the game, Candido Roig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prendes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neda FC the free kick. After 74 played minutes Prendes got a freekick which was hit by Candido Roig. Neda FC's Domenico Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Verdeja in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Igor Verdeja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prendes's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Verdeja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Guerrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mikel Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordarin Abrego's late challenge caught a Neda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordarin Abrego helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Prendes getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cordarin Abrego hit a great ball. Rubén Quintas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neda FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
