When Sotero Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cañamero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotero Alvarez couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Erasmo Merino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Tiguerorte AFC's Cipriano Bouzas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frisco Gasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Frisco Gasso made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Alvaro Rua sent off a good shot on target. Sotero Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curro Aznar having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Igor Griful managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cañamero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Griful was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute of the game, Lauren Albizua landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 37th minute, Seve Cabrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Seve Cabrera came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cañamero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seve Cabrera couldn't finish the play. Sotero Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cañamero booed when Tiguerorte AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gitano Cortes didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Rua to strike the kick off in the second half. Frisco Gasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Rua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frisco Gasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Bouzas in the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Isidor Clos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cañamero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidor Clos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cañamero's zone, Alvaro Rua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frisco Gasso came out of the goal and Alvaro Rua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidor Clos's late challenge caught a Tiguerorte AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidor Clos helped the player get up and apologised. Isidor Clos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Alvaro Rua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Frisco Gasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lobo Moya came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Tiguerorte AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lobo Moya couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Rua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frisco Gasso having to interfere. Humberto Checa charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Checa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Igor Griful sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
