Cañamero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristeo Camacho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Frisco Gasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristeo Camacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidor Clos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Aristeo Camacho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frisco Gasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Aristeo Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ribadesella booed when Cañamero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotero Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Frisco Gasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristeo Camacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frisco Gasso having to interfere. The Ribadesella fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Ribadesella's Aristeo Camacho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ribadesella's Nicolás Labarra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ribadesella from getting a goal against them. Frisco Gasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ribadesella's Eliazar Figueres got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Cañamero's Erasmo Merino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 62 played minutes Ribadesella got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Aballe. Frisco Gasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristeo Camacho's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Cañamero's goal looked a bit too open when Aristeo Camacho came free, but Frisco Gasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Enol Serra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ribadesella and the Cañamero players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Igor Griful's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolás Labarra was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliazar Figueres during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Ribadesella supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ribadesella would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
