Txomin Baeza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Beremundo Jauregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Villanopa's Vigil Gómez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beremundo Jauregui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Vigil Gómez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villanopa's supporters rose to their feet, but Vigil Gómez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beremundo Jauregui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vigil Gómez in the 47th managed to get into a good position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vigil Gómez to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leoncio Tarin got free with Oto Garrido in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Txomin Baeza came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Villanopa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Txomin Baeza couldn't finish the play. In the 59thth minute of the game Vigil Gómez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O Campo AD's Beremundo Jauregui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txomin Baeza in the 60th minute of play forced O Campo AD's goalkeeper Beremundo Jauregui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
