Las Viñuelas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Markel F.C the free kick. 13 minutes into the match, Las Viñuelas's goalkeeper Karlo Gómez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cordero Perez. Karlo Gómez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Galdamez in the 19th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Checa Silva during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karlo Gómez made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nando Galdamez sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Cordero Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlo Gómez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Galdamez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Karlo Gómez made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cordero Perez was the one to do the kick off. Leoncio Jimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leoncio Jimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, Markel F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leoncio Jimenez to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Fredo Sirvent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karlo Gómez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Galdamez in the 67th minute of play. If Fernando Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Checa Silva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Quentin Saboya came out and tried to block the shot, but Checa Silva slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 75th minute. After 80 played minutes Las Viñuelas got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Planes. When Markel F.C's Cordero Perez in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Las Viñuelas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th minute, Nando Galdamez made a precise shot to the right of Karlo Gómez. Las Viñuelas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eusebio Planes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Cordero Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Karlo Gómez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Las Viñuelas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
