Real Madrid 2.0's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Sebastián FC the free kick. A collision led to Real Madrid 2.0 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ferrer Aizpurua hit a great ball. Santo Bartumeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Marin having to interfere. Flavio Lastras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Montay Bacete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan-Carlos Castaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Montay Bacete having to make a save. Santo Bartumeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to San Sebastián FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ramón Marines hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Ferrer Aizpurua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montay Bacete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Carlos Castaño in the 30th minute of play. Juan-Carlos Castaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Flavio Lastras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Montay Bacete was relentless in the 38th minute of the game.
