Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ugaitz Moreira started the match with the kick off. El Papiol AFC's Caitano Verdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilixo Losantos in the 7th minute of play. Ugaitz Moreira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Ugaitz Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Astudillo was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Quinito Herrero took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caitano Verdu. Caitano Verdu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Quinito Herrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Caitano Verdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jorge Cameno fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Papiol AFC's protests and gave Jorge Cameno a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Cameno kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Almendros booed when El Papiol AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geremia Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Almendros's Agustín Alcalde tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, El Papiol AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Cameno to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in El Papiol AFC's zone, Ilixo Losantos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caitano Verdu came out of the goal and Ilixo Losantos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ugaitz Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Astudillo having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Mambru Titos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almendros and the El Papiol AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Almendros got a freekick which was hit by Mambru Titos. Ugaitz Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ovidio Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cris Campoamor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Quinito Herrero made the kick off in the second half. Ilixo Losantos hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Cris Campoamor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Papiol AFC's zone, Prometeo Montes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caitano Verdu came out of the goal and Prometeo Montes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Cris Campoamor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Almendros's Ovidio Astudillo. Ovidio Astudillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinito Herrero in the 74th minute of play forced El Papiol AFC's goalkeeper Caitano Verdu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caitano Verdu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilixo Losantos in the 76th minute. If Cris Campoamor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Alcalde's late challenge caught a El Papiol AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustín Alcalde helped the player get up and apologised. When El Papiol AFC's Ugaitz Moreira in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almendros's goalie prevented a goal. Caitano Verdu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinito Herrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Quinito Herrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geremia Mendez hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, El Papiol AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Quinito Herrero came free, but Caitano Verdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Seve Leon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Papiol AFC and the Almendros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Seve Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Quinito Herrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caitano Verdu having to interfere. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Papiol AFC's goalkeeper Caitano Verdu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
