In the 8th minute, Oswaldo Zubizarreta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Casetas AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gandolfo Rodriguez hit a great ball. Gonsalvo Duran kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Silvino Irureta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Caldow, 1-0. After having played for 28 minutes, Montxo Zapata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casetas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Montxo Zapata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tarrako Manda's Bruno Caldow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veto Romero in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Tarrako Manda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonsalvo Duran to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Frasco Correa from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Bruno Caldow's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Deividas Tamošiūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fredo Dorado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romualdo Justo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paco Unzueta during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 42 minutes, Veto Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredo Dorado made a kick off. Isaac Erosa kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Deividas Tamošiūnas lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Romualdo Justo. Maurino Barbosa's late challenge caught a Casetas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurino Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Tarrako Manda got a freekick which was hit by Maurino Barbosa. A collision led to Casetas AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Paco Unzueta hit a great ball. Gonsalvo Duran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romualdo Justo. Casetas AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deividas Tamošiūnas scored 1-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romualdo Justo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Veto Romero might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Caldow. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Veto Romero ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Unai Alcalde put in a rough tackle. Fredo Dorado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romualdo Justo came out and tried to block the shot, but Fredo Dorado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 90th minute. When the match was over Tarrako Manda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Casetas AFC throughout the match.
