Peio Lastras missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 41 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Oro Novo right hand side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience was convinced that Elias Baeza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oro Novo was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Lleir Portillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Oro Novo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oro Novo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Baeza in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Baeza in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oro Novo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cris Marcilla kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bladi Palanques in the 71st minute of play forced Vall Sobrega SD's goalkeeper Oro Novo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliberto Ortiz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elias Baeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oro Novo having to interfere. Feliberto Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arbas Otero, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Edmundo Maestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Arbas Otero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Villanueva Del Rio Y Minas FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Peio Lastras hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
