The supporters of Vall Sobrega SD booed when Hostalric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santana Bouzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xorxe Higuera kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Edmundo Maestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oro Novo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xorxe Higuera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arbas Otero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Hostalric's Venceslás Balboa got control of the ball when Edmundo Maestro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arbas Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslás Balboa having to interfere. When Telmo Navas fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hostalric's protests and gave Telmo Navas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vall Sobrega SD booed when Hostalric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Navas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Maestro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Venceslás Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oro Novo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inko Casas in the 29th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Hostalric's Xorxe Higuera made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oro Novo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oro Novo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xorxe Higuera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oro Novo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xorxe Higuera's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When Inko Casas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Hostalric fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inko Casas couldn't finish the play. Xorxe Higuera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 49th match minute, Vall Sobrega SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Alcaraz to maneuver through the defense. In the 50th minute of the match Cosme Fresnos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oro Novo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arbas Otero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the match, Vall Sobrega SD's goalkeeper Oro Novo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inko Casas. With a little luck, Vall Sobrega SD's Oro Novo got control of the ball when Inko Casas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Inko Casas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oro Novo, 0-2. 71 minutes into the game, Xorxe Higuera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oro Novo. Xorxe Higuera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Vall Sobrega SD's zone, Inko Casas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oro Novo came out of the goal and Inko Casas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oro Novo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Higuera in the 77th minute of play. Leopoldo Alcaraz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Arbas Otero fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vall Sobrega SD's protests and gave Arbas Otero a yellow card for diving instead. Arbas Otero kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xorxe Higuera in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oro Novo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xorxe Higuera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oro Novo came out and tried to block the shot, but Xorxe Higuera slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 93rd minute. Oro Novo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inko Casas in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hostalric walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
