Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benedicto Crespo got the match started through his kick off. Angelino Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nando Quesada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelino Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Indartsu Palencia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Crespo in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Benedicto Crespo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Indartsu Palencia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Quesada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Estebano Lama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guillermo Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Punta De Mujeres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Benedicto Crespo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute of the match Chepe Crespo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Indartsu Palencia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucio Jofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Urtsua Cabezas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Jofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nando Quesada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Punta De Mujeres getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Guillermo Barbosa hit a great ball. Beniarbeig AFC's Cristo Dobale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Punta De Mujeres. Angelino Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nando Quesada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Punta De Mujeres's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Jofre came free, but Nando Quesada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Barbosa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Lucio Jofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Quesada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Punta De Mujeres getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Urtsua Cabezas hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Jofre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Estebano Lama struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Indartsu Palencia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Punta De Mujeres. After having played for 58 minutes, Lucio Jofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beniarbeig AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Jofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 minutes, Guillermo Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Punta De Mujeres and the Beniarbeig AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Punta De Mujeres getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Guillermo Barbosa hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Punta De Mujeres got a freekick which was hit by Urtsua Cabezas. Joan Soldado hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Lucio Jofre took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nando Quesada. Nando Quesada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lucio Jofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Quesada having to interfere. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Benedicto Crespo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Indartsu Palencia. Beniarbeig AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Crespo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Angelino Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Estebano Lama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Indartsu Palencia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Punta De Mujeres booed when Beniarbeig AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joan Soldado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Beniarbeig AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
