The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nerio Escobar in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nahia Verges saved Aduanas FC from getting behind. Nayely Gene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Aduanas FC's Virgilio Santos got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Prospero Maroto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Aduanas FC's Franco Negro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Nayely Gene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Paul Huerta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmu Verdaguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nayely Gene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nahia Verges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nerio Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Rufo Contreras got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nahia Verges quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Fornillos De Apies getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Danilo Abrego hit a great ball. If Nayely Gene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rufo Contreras hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nerio Escobar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Fornillos De Apies got a corner. Aduanas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rufo Contreras ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Fornillos De Apies's corner Rainerio Estrada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nahia Verges quite easily take care of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Aduanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rainerio Estrada came free, but Nahia Verges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Figueroa scored 1-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nahia Verges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73 played minutes Aduanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Uria. Nerio Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nahia Verges having to interfere. Xacintu Roig kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Daniel Figueroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nahia Verges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Nerio Escobar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nahia Verges. Aduanas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nerio Escobar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aduanas FC's goalkeeper Nahia Verges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nerio Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Nayely Gene managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aduanas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nayely Gene was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmu Verdaguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fornillos De Apies were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aduanas FC for a fine match.
