Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Asdrubal Urruti got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Arias Carreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Fe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palacio the free kick. The supporters of Palacio booed when Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arias Carreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Herauso Soler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peru Calderon charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peru Calderon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pelayo Leseduarte acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raúl Jaen. Alejandro Castelao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Pelayo Leseduarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru Calderon hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ekaitz Morado hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alejandro Castelao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelayo Leseduarte having to interfere. Xofre Vadillos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Peru Calderon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. After 25 played minutes Palacio got a freekick which was hit by Peru Calderon. Pelayo Leseduarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herauso Soler in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Palacio's goalkeeper Pelayo Leseduarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Castelao. Alejandro Castelao scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pelayo Leseduarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Palacio's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alejandro Castelao fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 38th minute, Ekaitz Morado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herauso Soler in the 40th minute of play forced Palacio's goalkeeper Pelayo Leseduarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Castelao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pelayo Leseduarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Castelao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Castelao succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 48th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herauso Soler to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Bertol Cuervas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xofre Vadillos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herauso Morcego having to interfere. Xofre Vadillos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Herauso Morcego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Herauso Soler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Herauso Soler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelayo Leseduarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palacio's zone, Alejandro Castelao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelayo Leseduarte came out of the goal and Alejandro Castelao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Alejandro Castelao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herauso Soler in the 89th minute of play forced Palacio's goalkeeper Pelayo Leseduarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Herauso Soler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelayo Leseduarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Castelao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pelayo Leseduarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herauso Soler in the 97th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Santa Fe had played much better football throughout.
