Els Reguers FC's Urtzi Cuevas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Els Reguers FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Els Reguers FC's Midas Perez got a free kick in the 4th minute. The supporters of Arzoz booed when Els Reguers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casildo Soto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Martino Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urtzi Cuevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Els Reguers FC's Urtzi Cuevas got control of the ball when Martino Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urtzi Cuevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micael Ballesteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Bermejo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Micael Ballesteros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaston Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mergildo Quijana, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arzoz's goalkeeper Gaston Vazquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urtzi Cuevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micael Ballesteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Arzoz's goal looked a bit too open when Mergildo Quijana came free, but Gaston Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Mergildo Quijana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arzoz's Gaston Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Els Reguers FC booed when Arzoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Bermejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Mergildo Quijana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gaston Vazquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mergildo Quijana was the one to do the kick off. Martino Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urtzi Cuevas having to interfere. Casildo Soto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Gaston Vazquez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 63rd minute, Bernard Montiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casildo Soto might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Vazquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casildo Soto ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 75 minutes, Martino Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arzoz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martino Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Micael Ballesteros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urtzi Cuevas having to make a save. Gaston Vazquez made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Casildo Soto sent off a good shot on target. Martino Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martino Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martino Villa struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Urtzi Cuevas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arzoz. Micael Ballesteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urtzi Cuevas having to interfere. Els Reguers FC's Urtzi Cuevas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micael Ballesteros in the 96th minute of play. The Els Reguers FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
