After 12 played minutes Montoro FC got a freekick which was hit by Derwin Benítez. In the 14th minute, Mahoma Barrientos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montoro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Derwin Benítez kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Montoro FC's Anartz Zapata got a free kick in the 19th minute. Mahoma Barrientos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Petronio Salazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mahoma Barrientos in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petronio Salazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes of play Patraix's Montes Diaz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 36th minute, Montes Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Mahoma Barrientos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Montoro FC's Mahoma Barrientos got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petronio Salazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahoma Barrientos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Patraix's Petronio Salazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Patraix from getting a goal against them. After having played for 54 minutes, Derwin Benítez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montoro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derwin Benítez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mahoma Barrientos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Patraix defense, Mahoma Barrientos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petronio Salazar. The Patraix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petronio Salazar should have stopped the shot. Petronio Salazar made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mahoma Barrientos sent off a good shot on target. Derwin Benítez might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petronio Salazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derwin Benítez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th play minute Mahoma Barrientos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Petronio Salazar. 0-4. When Humberto Solera fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patraix's protests and gave Humberto Solera a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Patraix's Humberto Solera got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The long shot by Santo Clos in the 74th minute really tested Petronio Salazar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Montoro FC booed when Patraix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mahoma Barrientos struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Petronio Salazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montoro FC. After having played for 82 minutes, Nisio Carreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montoro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nisio Carreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiburcio Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiburcio Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mahoma Barrientos struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Petronio Salazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montoro FC. Mahoma Barrientos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Petronio Salazar made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Montoro FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Patraix.
