Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delfino Villar started the match with the kick off. With his leg Patxi Herrero managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Montoro FC's Mahoma Barrientos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Derwin Benítez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Patxi Herrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Derwin Benítez sped through Medina Azahara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patxi Herrero. In the 14th minute, Mahoma Barrientos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Derwin Benítez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patxi Herrero having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Derwin Benítez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 27 minutes into the game, Román Pascual was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medina Azahara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montoro FC the free kick. In the 28th minute, Román Pascual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Paco Campoamor from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Patxi Herrero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Patxi Herrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derwin Benítez in the 33rd minute of play. Mahoma Barrientos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Patxi Herrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mundo Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mundo Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mundo Alvarez hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derwin Benítez in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patxi Herrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th match minute, Medina Azahara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Marques to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Paco Campoamor sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Patxi Herrero threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Paco Campoamor this time. Medina Azahara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Derwin Benítez scored to the left of an out of position Patxi Herrero, making the score, 2-0.

After 51 minutes of play, Montoro FC's Derwin Benítez made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patxi Herrero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mahoma Barrientos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jordi Coira fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montoro FC's protests and gave Jordi Coira a yellow card for diving instead. Eneko Coya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Anacleto Verges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patxi Herrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Derwin Benítez's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Derwin Benítez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patxi Herrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Román Pascual got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 66 played minutes Medina Azahara got a freekick which was hit by Román Pascual. Gaudencio Clemente kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Patxi Herrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahoma Barrientos in the 71st minute of the match. Derwin Benítez might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patxi Herrero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derwin Benítez ran back to his position shaking his head. Derwin Benítez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Tabb Balboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montoro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medina Azahara the free kick. A collision led to Montoro FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Tabb Balboa hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Mahoma Barrientos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patxi Herrero was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Patxi Herrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derwin Benítez in the 88th minute of play. If Mahoma Barrientos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derwin Benítez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Patxi Herrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
