Sancho Reina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Aratz Matximenta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 22nd minute, Tadeo Cao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aratz Matximenta's Nicolao Acha couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Granadilla De Abona AFC. 25 minutes into the match, Granadilla De Abona AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sancho Reina came free, but Gonsalve Gala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Granadilla De Abona AFC's Gonsalve Gala got control of the ball when Lazaro Turienzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 minutes, Xesus Cortes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granadilla De Abona AFC and the Aratz Matximenta players grew even worse after the yellow card.
