After having played for 87 minutes, Asensio Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garrigoles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asensio Rodriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lucas Zapico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granadilla De Abona AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Zapico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xoan Harroyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute Esquipula Bencoiechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xoan Harroyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute, Lucas Zapico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Granadilla De Abona AFC fully deserved thier win.
