Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Paiandi CF's zone, Alonso Doblas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Sacristán came out of the goal and Alonso Doblas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Sacristán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Doblas in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Paiandi CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iratze Bajo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Alonso Doblas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vellisca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonso Doblas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaitz Zubizarreta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Sacristán having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Arnaitz Zubizarreta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vellisca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paiandi CF the free kick. 22 minutes into the match, Edilberto Calatayud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albino Guijarro. Vellisca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edilberto Calatayud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Patxi Alfaro put in a rough tackle. Paiandi CF's Aureliano Sacristán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaitz Zubizarreta in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Arnaitz Zubizarreta notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Paiandi CF's Aureliano Sacristán. Aureliano Sacristán was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Paiandi CF's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaitz Zubizarreta came free, but Aureliano Sacristán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Sacristán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Doblas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Iratze Bajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paiandi CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Iratze Bajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Guijarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaitz Zubizarreta to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnaitz Zubizarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnaitz Zubizarreta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aureliano Sacristán. That made the score 1-3 in the 59 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Vellisca FC's Arnaitz Zubizarreta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aureliano Sacristán. Aureliano Sacristán yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Paiandi CF's Aureliano Sacristán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Paiandi CF from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaitz Zubizarreta in the 69th minute of play forced Paiandi CF's goalkeeper Aureliano Sacristán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnaitz Zubizarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Paiandi CF's Aureliano Sacristán got control of the ball when Alonso Doblas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Arnaitz Zubizarreta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Arnaitz Zubizarreta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aureliano Sacristán, passed just outside the right post. Edilberto Calatayud hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Arnaitz Zubizarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aureliano Sacristán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Aureliano Sacristán throw himself and got hold of the ball when Arnaitz Zubizarreta in the 94thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Aureliano Sacristán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaitz Zubizarreta in the 96th minute of play. Vellisca FC played a much better game than Paiandi CF and deserved their victory. The Paiandi CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
