If Pascual Abellan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Abellan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eguzki Carballido having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nabar Caminero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elviria AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nabar Caminero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eguzki Carballido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xines Reina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Benito Millán made a huge save. Roldán Cazorla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paperera De Sant Jordi FC's Eguzki Carballido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nabar Caminero in the 28th minute of play. Ovidio Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Eguzki Carballido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nabar Caminero in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Pascual Abellan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elviria AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pascual Abellan might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eguzki Carballido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Abellan ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Paperera De Sant Jordi FC's zone, Pascual Abellan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eguzki Carballido came out of the goal and Pascual Abellan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Paperera De Sant Jordi FC's Xines Reina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Millán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pascual Abellan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eguzki Carballido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Elviria AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roldán Cazorla was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Nabar Caminero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eguzki Carballido. The goal made the score 0-2. Joselito Montiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eguzki Carballido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roldán Cazorla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute Nabar Caminero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguzki Carballido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Millán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roldán Cazorla in the 78th minute of the match. Pascual Abellan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Paperera De Sant Jordi FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arnas Iglesias hit a great ball. If Pascual Abellan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Paperera De Sant Jordi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlo Puyol to maneuver through the defense. Xines Reina struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Benito Millán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paperera De Sant Jordi FC.
