Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Froilan Ribeiro made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Pistaxico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benvide Velazquez came free, but Miliano Puyol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pistaxico FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Normando Cardeñosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Azpilkueta's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Azpilkueta's corner Normando Cardeñosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miliano Puyol quite easily take care of the ball. Miliano Puyol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benvide Velazquez in the 7th minute. Benvide Velazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Miliano Puyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Pistaxico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macario Justo to maneuver through the defense. Benvide Velazquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miliano Puyol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hibai Silva in the 18th minute of the match. Pistaxico FC's Miliano Puyol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hibai Silva in the 24th minute of play. Osvaldo Toxeiro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Hibai Silva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miliano Puyol, passed just outside the right post. Hibai Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Miliano Puyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hibai Silva came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Azpilkueta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hibai Silva couldn't finish the play. If Vincent Gala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Toni Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Azpilkueta's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Gala came free, but Toni Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Benvide Velazquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Miliano Puyol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Azpilkueta's zone, Froilan Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toni Alvarez came out of the goal and Froilan Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hibai Silva to make the kick off. Erasmo Valdivia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 minutes of play, Azpilkueta's Benvide Velazquez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miliano Puyol was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Benvide Velazquez in the 60th minute of play forced Pistaxico FC's goalkeeper Miliano Puyol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vincent Gala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hibai Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miliano Puyol having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Azpilkueta got a freekick which was hit by Xurde Duarte. Hibai Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miliano Puyol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benvide Velazquez in the 90th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Froilan Ribeiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Toni Alvarez to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Azpilkueta fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pistaxico FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
