A collision led to El Cuadro CF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Unax Velasco hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Abel Campomanes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlo Comas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Feliu Bargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Iyan Bernal in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Orlo Comas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iyan Bernal in the 34th minute of the match. Feliu Bargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herberto Ribas made a kick off. Herberto Ribas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberto Ribas in the 54th minute of play forced El Cuadro CF's goalkeeper Orlo Comas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Julen Santalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Bergada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Bergada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliu Bargas's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The attack was good, but when Julen Santalla in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 78 minutes into the game, one of Alquerías:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave El Cuadro CF a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aranguiz Madariaga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alquerías's Santiago Bergada. 1-0. After having played for 84 minutes, Herberto Ribas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alquerías's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herberto Ribas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Julen Santalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Bergada was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Carreira during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Herberto Ribas came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Alquerías fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herberto Ribas couldn't finish the play. El Cuadro CF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
