Valdelcubo's Gallo Coello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliu Bargas in the 3rd minute of play. Quin Navarro charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quin Navarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Valdelcubo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quin Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Gallo Coello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julen Santalla in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Alejandro Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdelcubo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Montes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlo Comas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Duarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlo Comas having to make a save. Alejandro Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlo Comas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlo Comas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, El Cuadro CF's Feliu Bargas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gallo Coello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, El Cuadro CF's goalkeeper Orlo Comas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Montes. In the 32nd minute, Virgilio Duarte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Orlo Comas, passed just outside the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Orlo Comas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alejandro Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlo Comas having to interfere. When Valdelcubo's Virgilio Duarte in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Cuadro CF's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlo Comas was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After having played for 45 minutes, Alejandro Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valdelcubo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Feliu Bargas came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the El Cuadro CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliu Bargas couldn't finish the play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Duarte was the one to do the kick off. Tacito Griego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th match minute, El Cuadro CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urdin Navas to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Orlo Comas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Unax Velasco during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unax Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Alejandro Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julen Santalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Valdelcubo's Alejandro Montes in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 90th minute, Virgilio Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Orlo Comas. El Cuadro CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Valdelcubo fully deserved thier win.
