In the 4th minute, Ospin Lorenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fals's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orexa the free kick. When Arbidel Valcarcel fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fals's protests and gave Arbidel Valcarcel a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Fals got a freekick which was hit by Arbidel Valcarcel. In the 18th match minute, Fals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arbidel Valcarcel to maneuver through the defense. Alfronso Climent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnin Ocaña having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fals defense, Alfronso Climent kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saturnin Ocaña. The Fals fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnin Ocaña should have stopped the shot. Xinto Fuster's late challenge caught a Orexa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xinto Fuster helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 minutes, Alfronso Climent made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fals's Saturnin Ocaña tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alfronso Climent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Alfronso Climent took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Saturnin Ocaña to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfronso Climent made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Xinto Fuster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orexa were furious when Sinforoso Quijana was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Orexa! The goalkeeper, Duarte Nobo, was totally fooled by Fals's Eduardo Buendia, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ramón Verdaguer scored 4-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnin Ocaña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duarte Nobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xinto Fuster in the 66th minute of the match. Fulgencio Estruch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Fals's goal looked a bit too open when Luis-Javier Alonso came free, but Saturnin Ocaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Fabelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnin Ocaña having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Luis-Javier Alonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Saturnin Ocaña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ildefonso Alcalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Saturnin Ocaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Orexa booed when Fals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xoan Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramón Verdaguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Fulgencio Estruch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orexa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Estruch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldo Fabelo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Saturnin Ocaña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orexa. In the 89thth minute of the game Fulgencio Estruch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fals's Saturnin Ocaña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ramón Verdaguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Xoan Marques in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Orexa's Fulgencio Estruch. After having played for 94 minutes, Fulgencio Estruch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orexa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Estruch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Luis-Javier Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orexa's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis-Javier Alonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnin Ocaña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilesindo Borrás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Orexa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
