Luis Nueva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Lorenzo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rufino Tobia saved El Ligallo from getting behind. Matas Blancas CD's Cirino Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Nueva in the 22nd minute of play. If Santana Macías had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santana Macías fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirino Ortega having to interfere. Cirino Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Nueva in the 34th minute of the match. Cirino Ortega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santana Macías in the 38th minute. Santana Macías's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Cirino Ortega skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santana Macías in the 67th minute of play forced Matas Blancas CD's goalkeeper Cirino Ortega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Santana Macías managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Ligallo's supporters rose to their feet, but Santana Macías was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirino Ortega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Elixio Llorente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The penalty shot was made by Gabon Bellido, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Matas Blancas CD's Cirino Ortega. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Lorenzo got free with Rufino Tobia in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, El Ligallo's Josepe Camaño got a free kick in the 94th minute. Mancio Gibert kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Matas Blancas CD's Leandro Lorenzo got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Ligallo had played much better football throughout.
