When Martin Malo's George Casero, in the 11th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Martin Malo. In the 14th minute George Casero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ricoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Ricoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Casero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Petri Alarcon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Ricoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Morales in the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Aguilo got free with Eriberto Espinosa in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antxoka Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antxoka Flores the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Martin Malo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. The audience was convinced that Michel Morales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Ricoy was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Oton Valdivia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zalduondo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oton Valdivia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Espinosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oton Valdivia to make the kick off. George Casero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Felix Ricoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michel Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Ricoy having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Michel Morales kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Ricoy. That made the score 0-4 in the 93 minute of play.
