In the 7th match minute, Martin Malo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Teruel to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Allande Contratas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Martin Malo's Eriberto Espinosa didn't even have to move. In the 16thth minute of the game George Casero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amposta's Tomualdo Palomar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Martin Malo's goalkeeper Eriberto Espinosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Romero. If George Casero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Morales took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomualdo Palomar. Tomualdo Palomar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Michel Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Casero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Cacheres fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amposta's protests and gave José Cacheres a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Amposta getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. José Cacheres hit a great ball. When Michel Morales came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Martin Malo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Morales couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Espinosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Romero in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frisco Rosas in the 44th minute of play forced Martin Malo's goalkeeper Eriberto Espinosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frisco Rosas to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Martin Malo's George Casero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomualdo Palomar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Amposta got a freekick which was hit by José Cacheres. When Michel Morales came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Martin Malo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Morales couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Martin Malo's goal looked a bit too open when Frisco Rosas came free, but Eriberto Espinosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Casero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomualdo Palomar having to interfere. Eriberto Espinosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Romero in the 71st minute of the match. If Frisco Rosas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Juan Teruel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martin Malo and the Amposta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Uriel Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. George Casero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomualdo Palomar having to interfere. Uriel Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Espinosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Michel Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Casero might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomualdo Palomar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Casero ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Malo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
