Julián Alarcon hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Luis-Alfredo Mera could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Fulgencio Mayol however easily saved by the left post. Joaquin Vazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Vincent Ponte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Julián Alarcon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campodón FC and the Malgrat De Mar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Julián Alarcon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Garay struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Fulgencio Mayol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campodón FC. Polifemo Carballido charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Polifemo Carballido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Malgrat De Mar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Polifemo Carballido to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Campodón FC's zone, Nastasio Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Ponte came out of the goal and Nastasio Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Nastasio Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Ponte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis-Alfredo Mera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Fulgencio Mayol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Albizua kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Joaquin Vazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Ponte having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Garay in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Mayol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis-Alfredo Mera might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Mayol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis-Alfredo Mera ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Vazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Ponte having to interfere. Vincent Ponte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Joaquin Vazquez made the kick off in the second half. Nastasio Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Vincent Ponte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vincent Ponte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nastasio Acosta in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Luis-Alfredo Mera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malgrat De Mar's Fulgencio Mayol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis-Alfredo Mera in the 90th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
