Arcadio Cameno started the match with the kick off. In the 29th minute, Rodrigo Bartumeu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Miñosa's Luis-Alfredo Fabelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gení Santos in the 31st minute of play. Gení Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis-Alfredo Fabelo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Elisardo Jimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Miñosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Elisardo Jimenez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Che Diez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Gení Santos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A hard shot 45 in the game by Zabal Cifuentes from a close distance when the talented Luis-Alfredo Fabelo managed to make a qualified save. La Miñosa's players were relieved. Zabal Cifuentes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Luis-Alfredo Fabelo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 47 played minutes, La Miñosa's Ramón Mora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Che Diez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Miñosa reached it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Elisardo Jimenez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 52nd playminute. La Miñosa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Sinforoso Carreira hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a little luck, San García AFC's Che Diez got control of the ball when Elisardo Jimenez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Miñosa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
