Handi Sainz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Inge Fonticoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Rilleira CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josepe Fresnos to maneuver through the defense. When Josepe Fresnos fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rilleira CF's protests and gave Josepe Fresnos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Rilleira CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josepe Fresnos to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Venceslás Quintas scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Inge Fonticoba who was too lazy, 1-0. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fuentes Claras's goalkeeper Orlondo Iglesias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rilleira CF's Inge Fonticoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Rilleira CF from getting a goal against them. When Amador Font came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Fuentes Claras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Font couldn't finish the play. Inge Fonticoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Font, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Inge Fonticoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Font, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fuentes Claras's Orlondo Iglesias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Cano in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Xorxe Rojas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rilleira CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fuentes Claras the free kick. The supporters of Fuentes Claras booed when Rilleira CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xorxe Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 43 in the game by Handi Sainz from a close distance when the talented Inge Fonticoba managed to make a qualified save. Rilleira CF's players were relieved. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fuentes Claras's goalkeeper Orlondo Iglesias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amador Font fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Fonticoba having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Joel Cano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlondo Iglesias having to make a save. After 58 played minutes Fuentes Claras got a freekick which was hit by Tato Ortiz. When Armando Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Rilleira CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Suarez couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Rilleira CF's Fredo Sacristán got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Mero Herrera fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fuentes Claras's protests and gave Mero Herrera a yellow card for diving instead. Joel Cano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Orlondo Iglesias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amador Font recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th match minute, Fuentes Claras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Casas to maneuver through the defense. Orlondo Iglesias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Suarez's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. With his leg Orlondo Iglesias managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Rilleira CF's Joel Cano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 87 minutes into the game, Tato Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fuentes Claras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rilleira CF the free kick. Orlondo Iglesias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Suarez in the 88th minute of the match. Inge Fonticoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Handi Sainz in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
