But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Abascal couldn't finish the play. After 10 played minutes, SuliMelilla's Carles Puyol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cai Babia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SuliMelilla reached it. After 14 minutes, Ceferino Merino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beleña De Sorbe FC and the SuliMelilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Beleña De Sorbe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Merino to maneuver through the defense. Quinito Rubio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes Beleña De Sorbe FC got a freekick which was hit by Ostadar Nueva. With 18 minutes on the clock, Luis-Miguel Babia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Beleña De Sorbe FC booed when SuliMelilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis-Miguel Babia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Baudilio Segura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cai Babia was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Quinito Rubio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Quinito Rubio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 29th minute, SuliMelilla's Casimiro Abascal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Casimiro Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cai Babia having to interfere. In the 36th minute Ostadar Nueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Peña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quinito Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 45 in the game by Quinito Rubio from a close distance when the talented Cai Babia managed to make a qualified save. Beleña De Sorbe FC's players were relieved. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mambru Domingo was the one to do the kick off. Casimiro Abascal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cai Babia having to make a save. Sabino Peña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mambru Domingo in the 53rd minute of the match. With 57 minutes on the clock, Vergaray Duran commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 57 minutes into the game, one of Beleña De Sorbe FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SuliMelilla a penalty, 59 minutes into the game.
