If Agusti Macia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Rafa Cabanela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Rafa Cabanela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rentería AFC's Juan-Luis Dorado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yvon Vila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Martin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rentería AFC's zone, Rafa Cabanela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan-Luis Dorado came out of the goal and Rafa Cabanela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yvon Vila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Martin having to make a save. Gudesteo Sainz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
