When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
53 minutes into the match, Cerreda Santiago's goalkeeper Bartolomé Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Txema Flores. If Eugenio Nafría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelacio Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Nafría in the 71st minute of the match. Txema Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bartolomé Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Torcuato Paris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Molinos Marfagones AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Nafría came free, but Gelacio Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Txema Floress short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Bartolomé Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, Molinos Marfagones AFC's Benjamin Delgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolomé Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
