Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ilixo Urquijo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, EL COMANDANTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tome Martinez to maneuver through the defense. Gaizka Alavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponciano Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Goias's goalkeeper Ostadar Zaplana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilixo Urquijo. When Ilixo Urquijo got free in front of the goal in the 7th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ostadar Zaplana was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ilixo Urquijo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Ostadar Zaplana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute Lesardo Vagrande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaizka Alavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Ilixo Urquijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of EL COMANDANTE booed when Goias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Jubera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goias's Ostadar Zaplana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilixo Urquijo in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilixo Urquijo in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ostadar Zaplana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Goias's Ostadar Zaplana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Goias from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Arias Palanques in the 32nd minute really tested Ostadar Zaplana's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 33 minutes into the game, EL COMANDANTE's Ilixo Urquijo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ostadar Zaplana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With his leg Ostadar Zaplana managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when EL COMANDANTE's Ilixo Urquijo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Gonzo Sobrado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ostadar Zaplana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilixo Urquijo in the 43rd minute. Ilixo Urquijo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Ostadar Zaplana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tome Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ostadar Zaplana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilixo Urquijo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ostadar Zaplana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Lesardo Vagrande made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ponciano Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilixo Urquijo scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ostadar Zaplana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the game, Gonzo Sobrado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ostadar Zaplana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loren Barroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ostadar Zaplana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. EL COMANDANTE fully deserved thier win.
