Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Goias's Lesardo Vagrande started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Goias's Ostadar Zaplana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Olmedo in the 4th minute of play. Ostadar Zaplana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Olmedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Fausto Llorca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ostadar Zaplana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Llorca in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes in the game, Ponciano Pacheco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amadeo Bouzon having to interfere. Ponciano Pacheco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Amadeo Bouzon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Argider Aizpurua charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Argider Aizpurua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Castelló De Farfanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argider Aizpurua to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Goias's Ronaldo Cruz tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lesardo Vagrande in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Bouzon saved Castelló De Farfanya from getting behind. Ostadar Zaplana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Olmedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Llorca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ostadar Zaplana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauro Olmedo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ostadar Zaplana. Ostadar Zaplana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ponciano Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Castelló De Farfanya's Fausto Llorca got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauro Olmedo to make the kick off. Arturo Palacios's late challenge caught a Castelló De Farfanya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Palacios helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Goias's Arturo Palacios got a free kick in the 51st minute. Lauro Olmedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ostadar Zaplana made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lesardo Vagrande in the 55th minute of play forced Castelló De Farfanya's goalkeeper Amadeo Bouzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Onofre Gene during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Castelló De Farfanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onofre Gene to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Lesardo Vagrande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Bouzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Llorca struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ostadar Zaplana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelló De Farfanya. Lauro Olmedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lesardo Vagrande in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Bouzon saved Castelló De Farfanya from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lesardo Vagrande in the 95th minute of play forced Castelló De Farfanya's goalkeeper Amadeo Bouzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Olmedo in the 96th minute of play forced Goias's goalkeeper Ostadar Zaplana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
