In the 13th minute, Alain Villanueva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, one of Dolores CD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benetússer FC's Mazuste Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramond Perpiñán in the 19th minute of play. When Dolores CD's Ramond Perpiñán in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramond Perpiñán stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dolores CD's Baraxil Cayuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Arribas in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Benetússer FC's goalkeeper Mazuste Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nofre Valdés. It was beautiful to see Benetússer FC's Nel Zapico in action when he in the 89th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andoni Vives during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, one of Benetússer FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Benetússer FC. Dolores CD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
