Enrique Echeto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santxo Quesada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Echeto came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by West Ham Ibèric's Nono Calatayud. But to his dismay, Nono Calatayud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Nono Calatayud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Echeto was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Las Palmas's zone, Nono Calatayud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Echeto came out of the goal and Nono Calatayud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Las Palmas booed when West Ham Ibèric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xines Alcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nono Calatayud took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Echeto. Enrique Echeto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 48 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Nono Calatayud came free, but Enrique Echeto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half West Ham Ibèric were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hegoi Escobar to strike the kick off in the second half. Hegoi Escobar scored 1-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Idacio Ortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mero Cao during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to West Ham Ibèric getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mero Cao hit a great ball. If Baiardo Carrasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Xines Alcaraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Ham Ibèric and the Las Palmas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xines Alcaraz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Hegoi Escobar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Idacio Ortiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 74 played minutes West Ham Ibèric got a freekick which was hit by Xines Alcaraz. After 80 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Balcells. After having played for 82 minutes, Nono Calatayud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Ham Ibèric's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nono Calatayud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to West Ham Ibèric getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Locaio Sánchez hit a great ball. Enrique Echeto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santxo Quesada in the 86th minute. After 89 minutes, Silvio Munoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Palmas and the West Ham Ibèric players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Las Palmas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of West Ham Ibèric:s goal. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, West Ham Ibèric's Guido Andres got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Enrique Echeto. If Xines Alcaraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. West Ham Ibèric had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
