Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Moisés Justo kicked off to start the match. Michael Camacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabri Espinosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. García Saavedra charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed García Saavedra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, RCDE's García Saavedra got a free kick in the 4th minute. RCDE's Michael Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabri Espinosa in the 5th minute of play. Michael Camacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabri Espinosa in the 6th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Oliverio Montiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivella AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RCDE the free kick. In the 10th minute, one of Olivella AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olivella AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Justo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montxo De Pedro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aita Benítez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Camacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Urruti in the 19th minute of play. Anacleto Leseduartes short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Montxo De Pedro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabri Espinosa in the 31st minute of play forced RCDE's goalkeeper Michael Camacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Aita Benítez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivella AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aita Benítez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, RCDE's Telmo De la Torre seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Telmo De la Torre the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of RCDE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Telmo De la Torre had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 40th minute, Telmo De la Torre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arsenio Lillo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Olivella AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Lillo couldn't finish the play. Gabi Colillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabri Espinosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Urruti was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jorge Urruti hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gabi Colillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Montxo De Pedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Martín Camara with Gabri Espinosa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Anacleto Leseduarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montxo De Pedro having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Olivella AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gentza Olmedo to maneuver through the defense. Aita Benítez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Camacho having to interfere. The supporters of RCDE booed when Olivella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Lillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Fuente kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Michael Camacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aita Benítez in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Olivella AFC's Toni Mendez got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eduardo Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to RCDE getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Guaberto Fuente hit a great ball. After 92 minutes, Toni Mendez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivella AFC and the RCDE players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of RCDE booed when Olivella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. RCDE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
