The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Julio Gibert notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gavarra CD's Tristan Cayuela. Tristan Cayuela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute Micael Mudarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Cayuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Gavarra CD's Santi Santalla threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gorka Casta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Comparsa FC's Julio Gibert in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gavarra CD's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute, Julio Gibert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Gibert took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Cayuela. Tristan Cayuela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gorka Casta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavarra CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gorka Casta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santi Santalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Valery Mayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gavarra CD booed when Comparsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvino Aceves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Micael Mudarra notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gavarra CD's Tristan Cayuela. Tristan Cayuela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Gibert was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Comparsa FC booed when Gavarra CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gorka Casta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tristan Cayuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariando Esperta in the 61st minute of the match. With splendid footwork Julio Gibert arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-4 by the left pole in the game's 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Gavarra CD's Valery Mayor got a free kick in the 69th minute. Tristan Cayuela was a little too slow when Ariando Esperta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-5. If Alejandro Jaraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Gorka Casta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Comparsa FC's Santi Santalla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Alejandro Jaraba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Comparsa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gavarra CD the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valery Mayor in the 77th minute of play forced Comparsa FC's goalkeeper Santi Santalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Comparsa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Timo Gil was slow to take the kick. During this time Gavarra CD's players had a chance to rest. Gavarra CD's Timo Gil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santi Santalla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Gavarra CD's Tristan Cayuela got control of the ball when Ariando Esperta tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Gavarra CD getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Eneto Abril hit a great ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 84th minute, when Comparsa FC's Mustafá Avila after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Tristan Cayuela in Gavarra CD's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 85thth minute of the game Julio Gibert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gavarra CD's Tristan Cayuela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Julio Gibert put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Tristan Cayuela. 92 minutes into the game, Comparsa FC's Micael Mudarra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tristan Cayuela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The Gavarra CD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Comparsa FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
