The throw-in from Mark Sobrado in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samba Coloma's Guillerme Caminero. A collision led to San Fernando CD getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mark Sobrado hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Jerrold Montiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerrold Montiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aristeo Cordoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Gabon Leon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samba Coloma and the San Fernando CD players grew even worse after the yellow card.
