The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Baraquiel Montiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlomagno Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baraquiel Montiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roldán Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Mino Griego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cheste.c.f defense, Carlomagno Aznar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baraquiel Montiel. The Cheste.c.f fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baraquiel Montiel should have stopped the shot. Roldán Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cheste.c.f players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club de Pajas y Balompié were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Porfiro Garrido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Castan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Club de Pajas y Balompié booed when Cheste.c.f was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micael Leseduarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Olívio Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th match minute, Club de Pajas y Balompié was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlomagno Aznar to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Micael Leseduarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheste.c.f's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micael Leseduarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ariel Garate came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cheste.c.f's Porfiro Garrido. But to his dismay, Porfiro Garrido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Menendez in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baraquiel Montiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Cheste.c.f's Baraquiel Montiel got control of the ball when Olívio Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Club de Pajas y Balompié's Gabriel Menendez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baraquiel Montiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club de Pajas y Balompié's Gabriel Menendez got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carlomagno Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baraquiel Montiel was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Olívio Carneiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olívio Carneiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Tristan Grau hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Club de Pajas y Balompié's Carlos Costa was substituted for Valdo Noya.
