Hustaz Campoamor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xano Castellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Diez in the 12th minute of play. Kerim Tokgöz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hustaz Campoamor came out and tried to block the shot, but Kerim Tokgöz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cordareo Mendez during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cordareo Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Hustaz Campoamor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Crescencio Guijarro in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Domingo Diez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Lawrence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Crescencio Guijarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hustaz Campoamor. PLANTILLA EN VENTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Crescencio Guijarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Velez-Malaga's Pankracy Sliwinski got a free kick in the 28th minute. Xano Castellano's late challenge caught a PLANTILLA EN VENTA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xano Castellano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Xano Castellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hustaz Campoamor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xano Castellano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xian Vacas scored 4-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hustaz Campoamor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gelmiro Cerreri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Hustaz Campoamor came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Velez-Malaga's Xano Castellano. But to his dismay, Xano Castellano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. With a little luck, Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence got control of the ball when Gelmiro Cerreri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute Xian Vacas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hustaz Campoamor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Diez in the 60th minute of the match. With a left leg Angelino Lawrence saved Velez-Malaga from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Cordareo Mendez notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence. Angelino Lawrence was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Velez-Malaga's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
