Isidor Pedraza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Jorge Cano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Gil got free with Michel Cabrera in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mario Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kewell Team's zone, Mario Gil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Cabrera came out of the goal and Mario Gil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Liberto Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Prudencio Sevilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Isidor Pedraza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Michel Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Vallejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Sistodn's goalkeeper Isidor Pedraza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Barral.
